walk the line (2005). directed by james mangold.

i like joaquin phoenix and reese witherspoon's singing in this movie. in fact i like it better than the original recording sang by johnny cash and june carter cash. cash's voice in the early 1950's was thin and quivering, unlike phoenix's deep baritone.

  1. check out the same song covered by live. excellent, imo. also chris daughtry did an excellent take on idol too.

it was on repeat on my player some years back. i loved the movie as well, joaquin is somehow incredibly sexy no?

  2. he is sexy in an odd way. not conventionally handsome. i think it is the thing on his lip. he has sad eyes, like he's about to burst into tears anytime.

itu pun seksi, eh? haha. i find eric bana hot. oh eric bana!

  4. he was excellently cast in the village (2004), 8mm (1999) not to forget the commodus-who-has-the-hots-for-his-sister in gladiator (2000).

  5. ohhh i remember 8mm. dark movie. but very 'exposing' as well. i do not fancy the village, thanks to the somehow-anti-climactic nature of it. gladiator? yeah..now that i think about it- there were eeery perverty closeness with diane lane there. eueue.
